Last season we finished 9th with 47 points having achieved 12 wins, 11 draws and 15 defeats.

8th place achieved 49 points.

7th place achieve 54 points with 14 wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats.

Arsenal, 6th place achieved 63 points with 19 wins, 6 draws and 13 defeats.

If we continue at our current points per game we should hit somewhere around 55-60 points and on last seasons' showing a finish of 7th.

Is this sufficient?

60 points is about right for the squad we have and comparative investment.

If any of the top six have a bad season we should be ready to sneak in there.

Anything below 55 points is poor. That's essentially why I saw last season as a failure.

Anything more than 60 is to be celebrated.
