You've openly admitted you haven't watched a single minute of it, therefore, you have absolutely no clue at all about how horrendous we have been (although it hasn't stopped you having an uninformed opinion of course).
Uninformed opinion? I’m not giving any opinion about how we’re playing, am I? All I’m saying is that it’s pre-season (hence why I’m not even bothering to watch it) and most of you are bed wetting before a ball has even been kicked in the league. I’m going to give it at least one league game (maybe a few) before I start panicking.

Still, you didn't like winning last season 'cause it was boring and that so you'll be spunking your Y fronts at the thought of us getting ravaged by every ****er this season.
who’s to say we wouldn’t get ravaged by every ****er this season with the old regime?

Nobody. But at least it would look like we had some kind of plan to build on instead of not having a clue which direction to run headlessly into.

Unlike when Rodgers said it....its absolutely true. Weaker team than in the championship.
The manager has brought in four players. If we have a weaker team than we did last season, there's only one person to blame for that.

Maybe, just maybe, he should concentrate on playing folk in the correct position, having a tactical plan of some sort and bringing in players to fill positions we actually need, rather than pissing and moaning about the squad already.

It’s a writing on the wall declaration. The manager is saying two things. 1. The team isn’t good enough to compete and he thinks that as things stand we will be relegated in all likelihood; and 2. He can’t, or doesn’t know what to do to prevent it.

It’s bloody early to be saying stuff like this publicly. The classics Rodgers ‘it isn’t my fault’ defence. Perhaps it isn’t his fault, but if I am one of the guys playing for the team who he is asking to fight tooth and nail to win games, I am already feeling massively demoralised.

It’s also not bed wetting to be irritated by comments like, ‘I am having to play people out of position’ when it is demonstrably not true.

My suggestion for Cooper would be this. We have been playing ‘ze system’ for a year with success. Even if you don’t like it, the players know it, and it is at least a system. In my humble simpleton opinion, a system is better than seemingly no game plan at all.

I was concerned that ‘ze system’ would be exposed in the PL and I thought it might be a hidden blessing to lose Maresca. Having now seen the alternative, I was wrong. Playing what we have drilled into the team for an entire season is our best chance of staying up. As things stand we are easy meat and it ends one way.

Also, are we really much worse than last season? We have lost KDH. That is a big loss, but he was very left footed and on past evidence not obviously exceptional PL quality. That’s not to say he couldn’t be, but I’d be pleasantly shocked to see him play much this season for Chelsea. Getting someone in to replace him shouldn’t be impossible (although I am a bit worried we spent big on a CB who seems no better than what we have - we could’ve better used that money).

The other players we lost were done really. No big loss. Certainly not the sorts of players who were going to determine whether or not we stayed up.

Yes, we are one player down and two or three up.

We shouldn’t be much weaker than last season, if at all with one good signing this week.

We should have “largely” tweaked the system from last season and adapted it to the players we have and adapt it slightly each game based on who we are playing.

What I saw yesterday was frightening and I am an optimist.

The manager seemingly “chucking the towel in” before a ball is kicked is extremely concerning indeed.

Mentality is at least 50% of what breeds success or at least competitiveness.

To be fair, I want to give Cooper a chance but the performances in pre-season have been absolutely horrific.

As much as that fits the narrative, I think you know that it's not true. If a manager brings in four players and the squad gets worse, you have to question the players brought in.

For the record, I don't think our squad is worse, it's just performing as if it is.

Do you really think the manager is in charge of bringing players in?

If so you’re dumber than I originally thought.

You seem to be doing the same with Cooper that you accused me of doing with Enzo.

I think the manager has a say in who in being targeted but obviously getting the deal done is behind the scenes.

In that bbc interview Cooper said something like “that’s one the club have identified”.
Yeah but that doesn’t fit the narrative, so we’ll ignore that

So you think players are brought in without any say from a manager? Honestly, you're playing fast and hard with the word 'dumber' here.

As for Enzo and Cooper, I was happy extolling the virtues of a man who gave us a playing style, rebuilt a broken squad and got us promoted at the first attempt after winning shit loads of games. You're suggesting the guy that Forest sacked for being shit is a much better option. I hope he is but based on all the evidence that you haven't watched, it's going to be a very rocky road.

Other than those two barnstorming points though, you're back to your best wibble.
