Bring it on. Rebuild from the ground up because frankly, the club has a cancer running through it and the only way it gets cut out is by going down and hopefully resetting.

We could of course persevere with shite like Rudkin, Smith and whoever the scout is this week and put faith in experience. In which case we are truly ****ed and facing many years in the wilderness.

I fear the costs of relegation could be existential for the club.

Rebuilding with the muppets in charge won't do much good.

Exactly.

By far and away the people to blame for this mess are still running the show. Aiyawatt hasn't the faintest idea what he's doing and has put his faith in goons like Whelan and Rudkin who have grown very fat and complacent.

Until the owner removes a fair number of the hundreds (yes hundreds) of club employees that do next to feck all we'll not recover.

A silver lining of us effectively going bust through relegation is that they'll be a lot of people out of work.

Worth trying to put a positive spin on it because it’s ****ing happening either way mate :icon lol:

Well….at least we won’t have to watch half of these ****s again.

At least Jason Jarrett was trying.

Tickets might be cheaper and possibly without having to get a membership. Might....probably won't though

Coventry were in League 2 in 2018.
Luton were in League 2 in 2018.
Sunderland were in League 1 last season.
Boro were 20th in November 2022.

The Championship is a brutal league and can swallow you whole. You need fight and determination. Budget doesn't determine who gets promoted. And this is obviously a problem - you look at WBA, they NEED to get promoted moreso than the likes of the above teams.

What an albatross around the neck that training ground will prove to be in the Championship.

I’d imagine the club will be looking to sell off absolutely every bit of land they own. Imagine having a pristine golf course while sacking dozens of employees and charging fans premier league prices for championship football.

All compounded by the absolute certainty that no relegation contingency planning has taken place even to this day.

This will be a shitshow the likes we’ve rarely seen.

Honestly, this all seems many times more irresponsible than 2002
