Picking the next manager is not something I have to worry about. If I was being paid to consider it, I would happily trawl over available names, talk to agents, get a feel for the cost of each option. I haven’t given any great thought. I do think Benitez might be good short term. He’d basically be doing what he did well at Newcastle.

Sticking with BR will end in relegation. I feel almost certain of that. It walks like a duck and quacks like one too.

Benitez? Dyche? Are they really going to make us a better side?

Normally I'd be against those 2 suggestions. But it's not been long since Rodgers ****ed a game up to make a point. Can't see how they'd be worse than him.

If you’re looking for a more positive brand of football, then I’m not sure Benitez is the answer.

Forgive me, but we now have 4 threads on this: Rodgers future (post So'ton defeat); Brenxit sack Brenda?; Rodgers future and Replacement for Rodgers.

I just can't be arsed to read all 4. Can we please amalgamate so I can read all the vitriol in one place? Thanks.

Listen, I've got no problem with the vitriol, he deserves it and I enjoy reading it, just would like it in one place.

Doesn’t this just make being on the fence the obvious place to be ?
