No goals to show. Against the club placed 21st in league 2. It’s not unique to this match. We don’t know how to win. That usually ends one way.

Because he's an egotistical, self absorbed prick who constantly tries to make us sound small time as a club.

He's a politician who is only interested in his own preservation

We were just happy to stay in the league before his holiness arrived....
I just always seem to miss this.

Considering what we have achieved under Brendan - does anyone find it at all weird how much hate there is for him on here? I really don’t get it. I can’t remember this level of hate since Megson. And I was negative then too! Wonder why?
Yep, I also wonder about this and think it’s a real shame for someone who achieved a lot for us. We could have been in this position three years ago after Puel left but BR gave us two magnificent seasons.

I’m now accepting is time is probably up for the good of everyone, something is not right and a change of manager *might* help but why many have to treat him in this vitriolic way is beyond me.

Sometimes, you've got to read the room alex.

BR has an excellent squad available to him. He's being paid extraordinarily well. He's been allowed a free reign of the club for years.

Yet, we're absolutely awful. He's acting weird and always refuses to take any responsibility for the position we find ourselves in and the performances his team deliver.

It's genuinely scary to have such a person running our club right now. He is a very good coach and we all know what he's capable of achieving. But that's not the man doing the job at the moment.

I want him to get his shit together. I don't want him to have to be sacked. But he's doing pretty much everything he can to undermine his position and his relationship with us.

Imagine how easy it is to just get us onside by making some obvious decisions and speaking truth about our failings? If he's not doing it, what does that mean?

5th, 5th, 8th, FA Cup, Charity Shield.

Aside THAT season, it’s never been better….

Can you please give actual examples of this so-called worrying behaviour?

Literally any interview this season.

Every game this season has been "disappointing" and every time it's nothing to do with his selection, tactics or changes. It's always just poor decision making from the players.

He's usually a positive leader but there is nothing there this season. He's downbeat and just dishonest. All the talk of the "refresh" is a perfect example. He has contradicted himself several times on what he meant and what was supposed to happen.

If he just spoke truthfully and admitted his errors and difficulties and said that he needed the fans to stay with him because he will sort things out, many, me included, would welcome it. But instead all we get weirdly chosen words designed to absolve himself of any responsibility.

He's making it almost impossible for players and fans to stay with him.

Ok. I’m going to listen far closer, don’t get me wrong - I’m not happy with performances this season so far on the whole, but the level of anger against him feels way out of kilter to what he’s achieved here. Suggesting managers like Hassenhutil etc seems mental to me. What manager has achieved what Brendan has here outside of the traditional top 6? Moyes perhaps?? Yet so many seem to have lost the plot over him like he’s been shit. He really hasn’t.

It's a case of what have you done for us recently though. And what is recent has been poor.

Sentiment and performance can change very quickly, as they say in investment past performance shouldn't be used as a guide to future performance. I have never liked BR as a person but he did perform as a manager for several years, that doesn't seem to be the case now.

Interesting. The 'case now' being this season? Or last also??

I know you can point to an 8th placed finish in the league last season but the way we treated the Europa League and the FA Cup was shameful.
