It seems I was at the wrong game on Sunday - must have taken a wrong turn at some point during my 45 minute walk to the ground. The Mockery called McGivern 'impressive', and the fan doing the ratings gave him 9/10.

If anyone can tell me what game I watched I'd be grateful. It was a team in blue against a team in red. Team in blue went behind after about 20 seconds, three of the back four were atrocious, especially the two full backs, midfield was absent, finished 1-1... any idea where I was anyone?

Edit: If it's any help, the stadium announcer claimed there were over 20,000 in attendance, but there clearly were not.

Unfortunately I was at the same game as you. 2 of the worst full-back displays I've seen in a long time, considering that although Ipswich pressurised us well we could have easily passed it around them.

Considering 'that team in red' are in the top 6 on form, and we're in the top 6 on ability ( :081: ), this league really is quite shit, and atm I can't see anyone other than the top 3 having any chance of not getting humiliated in the Prem.

**** right off, are you seriously telling me that Florist would not get hammered in the Prem.

This ****ing site, your all a bunch of Forest lovers.

I thought this was the Forest forum? Sh*t! I just thought you guys were obsessed with how crap Leicester have done over the last few years and that's why you talk about it so much. That's years of my life wasted.

But in all seriousness, Billy Davies seems to have done pretty well with his transfer kitty, albeit quite a large one, and I see no reason why they wouldn't do similarly to Burnley (who aren't setting the Prem alight but are hardly whipping boys) or Brum (who are on a great run atm but will inevitably finish mid-table.)

Having watched us this season, I think we are definitely playing worse than our position suggests, and I'm praying that this means that we are going to hit form soon and start putting teams away.

Is that because the attendance is based on tickets sold and not the amount who have turned up (I know a lot f clubs do this)? A few may not have bothered because of the weather

No, you were there, you was sat next to me. Remember we had that conversation about Harbro, and agreed he's ****ing nuts.

The attendance figure is the number who actually go through the gates. I know of no club that do otherwise.

A lot of people must have turned up and then left before kick off on Sunday then. If there were 20,000+ there, I was about 3,000 of them.

I got the same impression - not for the first time this season, but I have made the enquiry of lcfc and several other clubs. Every one of them says that the published attendance figure is of the number of people who attend the match.

I believe it has to be by law?

Were he still here, Cleefox would be able to tell you all about fiddled attendance figures...

Or indeed any other type of fiddling, he's an all rounder.

On the Guardians Football Weekly Podcast last week they said Arsenal did this, and many other clubs did as well, so i was speculating that we may be one of them.

I can see reason to fiddle them lower - but not to fiddle them higher.
