Managed to listen to the last 15 mins on the radio in my break at work, Barber and Walshy were moaning about it being a poor performance - for fecks sake, it was always going to be a scrappy game, not helped much by the weather.

We were very nervous and still lack confidence but a much needed and welcome 3 points.

Pleased to see that the drummer boy has moved over to the Kop :038: hope he fecking well stays there.

He has the fastest feet I've seen for a long time (reputedly, ahem, this stands him in good stead with the casino ladees, as you know what they say about feet and certain types of acumen).
I thought it was big feet = big cock (I'm just admiring my size 27s as we speak, ladieeees) :icon_razz :icon_lol:

But fast feet? What does that mean?

Premature ejaculation? :102: :icon_wink

Most people have an issue with Matty Fryett, in that he doesn't appear to do much. Actually, he does. Today Matty played a great game.

Knocking Fryatt for his effort would be wrong but hey, he's always offside [would that have anything to do with the length of his quick feet over reaching?], doesn't score regularly, holds onto the ball too long when the team is on a counter attack, has been at Leicester long enough to develop his "potential". I'd like the guy to succeed but he just is not good enough. Yesterday he played well in the last 10 minutes.

A win is a win but the likes of Fryatt, Kisnorbo, Henderson should be replaced if we are be anything better thyan mediocre

You my friend need to carry yourself along to the funny farm if you think we can get a better player than Kisnorbo.

The playoffs are STILL a possibility.... :icon_wink

Are you a salesman City fan? :081: :081:
Thankfully not! I know we won't make the playoffs, but its astonishing how were not mathematically out of it with 5 games to go considering the shocking season we have had, just goes to show how tight this division has been this year.

I still reckon we will finish 16th. As Ollie said in the Post Match Press Conference, our goal difference is practically worth an extra point.

THe thing about him holding onto the ball to long when we are attacking...well tbh seeing as there didn't seem to be many rushing to help him out in those situations he'll be called whether he held onto the ball or whether he tried to go it alone(the greedy bastard!:icon_roll)

And also about him being here long enough to develop his potential..well I would hazard a guess that maybe if he played more than 10 minutes a game would be helpful in that respect!

I'm not sure whether he's what we need or not(haven't seen enough of him contiuously to judge!) but I'd rather he at least be given the chance up front for it to be decided once and for all.

After all, whilst he may not be any better than what we have, he really can't be any worse can he?

Or how poor it is?

I think his stats say it all

Fryatt's Diminishing Return:

Walsall 2005-06 Apps 25(0) Goals 13
Walsall 2004-05 Apps 23(14) Goals 15

65 games and 13 goals is hardly potential

It wasn't me who brought up 'potential' in the first place.

How many of those 65 games has he played more than 45 minutes?(let alone the normal 10-ish we've had from him this season)

I'm not defending the bloke, just trying to point out he hasn't been playing full matches continuously over any length of time apart from when he first joined us.

The fact that his record at walsall was good and his 6 goals from 18 games in his first season highly promising suggests that the downfall he has experienced since is to some extent the clubs fault.

Yet again the question of whether City ruin highly rated youngsters arrises.
