nice result.

We score first at home and it'll get squeaky bum time again.

Thanks Vardy

5 across midfield looked good.

Gray is our best player this season.

The last 20 minutes was very much akin to the Leicester of old. Kind of. A bit. Maybe.

Yes. It was.

But it also means CR will pick that XI for Monday, Morgan and Fuchs included.

I thought DD was generally a bit better than recent performances.

So delighted that JV got himself a Champions League goal, more so that he didn't snatch at the chance given the team's current confidence levels.

Demerai now has to be in our first XI.

Sevilla are absolute class. We HAVE to close them down, give them the ball and they will tear you a new one.

Fabulous 2-1

As Mawsley said I fully expected a hammering tonight. Sevilla are very very good and showed the gap between La Liga and PL. We got away with it but deserved it.

Kasper man of the match for either team surely.

I've no idea how we got that result but it is extremely welcome.

Tactically, we were shocking. First half, was exactly what we expected to see except that Schmeichel kept us in it. Second half we played okay in patches but they really should have buried us. Somehow, we got a goal and then you could see several of them improve markedly.

The stats will be really one-sided but the result was as good as we could have hoped for. The second leg may not be a total waste of time after all. It probably will be, but we've done better than Arsenal.

Great little line up to get in the pub at 7am here in the Aus.

Doors opened to the S American barman "Your boy saved saved good penalty!"

Gutted there second came after we looked like getting in the game.

So happy to cheer a goal.

Hoddle pointing out the flaws Mahrez playing the middle and for once I agree with him. It has never worked really has it?

For the last 20 minutes Drinkwater looked like the player of last season.

Great result, but the performance was mediocre. We were lucky. Maybe that's what our season needs, some luck for a team with low morale, but considering it was pretty much the most important game of the season so far, we didn't look like our future depended on it.

Morgan and Huth are the biggest worry. They practically ran into each other for their first goal, it was like Laurel and Hardy. The penalty was clumsy and some of the other defending was comical. Sevilla looked below par, and you have to wonder if this is in our favour. If they score at the KingPower, we'll need 3 to go through. When was the last time we scored 3 at home?

Isn't it nice to finally be able to take a few positives and a bit of optimism from a game!

A little voice of doom. Had we been beaten easily, we would have lost the focus on the Champions League.

Either Saturday sandwiching the return game we have Arsenal away and West Ham away.

The fuss about the Seville game could cost us in the league again.

The lack of Champions' League matches since December has hardly made a positive difference to our domestic form.
