As i understand with the current set up, you receive 1 share per pound invested. i may be incorrect, but that is how i have read it from the FT's posts.

MM has stated it was a fair offer so i am putting 2 and 2 together.

You can buy lots of things for a pound - but you wouldn't necessarily get a pound for them if you came to sell them. When MM talks about 'fair', it will be what is in his opinion fair.

I know that, but back then Cahirman involved doing some work. Not just saying grace like Jim Michill did, with Holmes on board he could have cleared up the things which Tim messed up.
