Leicester City transfer news: City set to win the race for Gokhan Inler

Italian media report City are in pole position to sign Napoli's Gokhan Inler.

Leicester City are set to win the race to sign Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler, according to reports in Italy.

City have had a bid of £3 million accepted by Napoli for the 31-year-old Switzerland international but after initially being reluctant to join City, as he reportedly preferred to stay in Italy, it is reported City have now agreed personal terms with Inler's representatives.

The reports state City will pay Inler six million euros, £4.2 million, over a three-year contract.

Inler is leaving towards Ingliterra to perform the medical examination and sign your contract.
