Totally unfounded this one but Chimbonda was released yesterday. I reckon if we got him match fit he would be worth a punt for the rest of the season at this level.

I thought the same... but he's not better not than Naughton.

First paragraph, Sven wants to sign Boka (left-back) and Zokora (most know) in the transfer window

Second paragraph bangs on about Bamba.

Third paragraph, Sven taken fancy to Ivorian players, coming days he wants to tie up deals.

Can't see it myself. Both play for bigger clubs in higher divisions within Europe.

Reportedly, Sven-Goran Eriksson, the manager of Leicester (English 2nd Division), seeks to recruit Didier Zokora and Arthur Boka before the end of the winter transfer window.

Sven-Goran Eriksson, appointed manager of Leicester in early October, was quick to turn all its networks to enhance the English 2nd Division team. The Swedish engineer recruited early in the winter transfer window, an old acquaintance: the central Ivorian defender Souleymane Bamba, who played in the Scottish club Hibernian. A player that Sven-Goran Eriksson has had under his orders last summer during his freelancing as coach of Ivory Coast during the World Cup. Paid as a choice for its first game under its new colors, Souleymane Bamba scored a goal that helped his team win the draw against Manchester City (2-2), in the third round FA Cup.

Eriksson will contact Zokora and Boka in the coming hours
The Leicester manager also seems particularly fond of the Ivorian industry. Reportedly, Sven-Goran Eriksson would have made two other elephants, priorities recruitment in January. He is the former defensive midfielder for AS Saint-Etienne, Didier Zokora, who plays for Sevilla and Stuttgart left-back Arthur Boka. The Swedish manager is expected in the coming hours to get in touch with both Ivorian international, he knows particularly well, to induce them to join him in England and see the feasibility of transferring this winter.

"English 2nd Division" - how delightfully off message.

Hope they bring their orange kit with them and get rid of that hideous bright yellow abortion that attracts the flies and we also seem to lose in.

EGUCIGALPA (AP) - Erick Norales central defender left on Friday to Honduras, which participates in the Central American Copa UNCAF, to join the Leicester in England.

Norales return to the headquarters of his team, the Marathon de San Pedro Sula, to leave the weekend to London, said in a press conference Athens Hernandez, Jess Agency Representative Group, which managed the transfer of Honduras.

San Pedro Sula is 180 kilometers north of Tegucigalpa and is the second largest city.

"Leicester Norales awaits on Monday to submit to medical examinations and proof of a week," he said.

Marathon director, Rolando Pena, said, "has been passed Norales on loan for the remainder of the tournament, which is about five months with an option to buy."

Leicester is the English second division.

The player did not participate on Friday against El Salvador in the semifinals of the Central American Cup in Panama.

The same happened with another Honduran, Georgie Welcome, who traveled to France on Wednesday to play at Monaco.

Norales Honduras is the fifth in Britain playing along with Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios, Maynor Figueroa flyers and Hendry Thomas, both from Wigan, and midfielder Ramon Nunez of Leeds United.

Not a bad goal scoring record for a defender either - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erick_Norales

Surely trading in ivory, especially elephant tusks, is illegal?
