So then, it seems that Rob Tanner at The Leicester Mercury Newpaper thing is saying 'LCFC have rebuffed an approach from Forest for Andy King, according to reports'

Come on.

I think they may need to shift their attention elsewhere.

Distilled/edited from the Mercury today:
"7 players have been circulated as available to other clubs by LCFC:
1) Doncaster Rovers have confirmed Richie Wellens is on that list...
2) Sean St Ledger has confirmed he is also on the list as he looks for a new club, while it is no secret that..."
3) & 4) "Jermaine Beckford and Neil Danns are also available, as is.."
5) "Paul Gallagher, who barely featured last season."
6 & 7) "The other two have been reported as being available are Martyn Waghorn and, surprisingly, Danny Drinkwater, who was one of manager Nigel Pearson's first signings after returning to City in November 2011."

All of those have been mentioned before I think, so not sure if the Mercury have just taken this from what they've seen online or not.

Drinkwater seems surprising though. The only rationale I can see is just if Pearson has other players lined up he thinks would be better... Would sooner see Vardy on that list than Waghorn too.

I wouldn't mind their season ticket policy.

Adult prices start at £225. And people who pay that will get next season's season ticket for £56 if they get promoted.

Giving value for money and encouraging large crowds? Madness.

I'm glad to hear that Waghorn (supposedly) is on that list. I just don't see any current ability or potential in him whatsoever.

I'm not saying Vardy is or ever may be good enough for Championship level but I hope he is given at least another season to adjust to the level and show his abilities. Stepping up from Conference football was (realistically) never going to be an instant success.

It doesn't say the players have to live in Ull though, just ""East Yorkshire". There are some decent places to live in the area.

East Yorkshire with a previso it's a dull post code
