Yeh them. Their first two games they got a win and a draw. That's a good start. It said they would probably finish bottom and they have got an excellent 17 year old midfielder who turned down Chelsea.

Albin Ekdal is his name, we should have a go for him. I'm sure he'd prefer Leicester over Chelsea.:icon_wink

Latest Bullplop Rumour:
Albin Ekdal on his way to Leicester.
Let's see how long it takes before it's up at the well known rumours site.

not a rumour but just seen that tommy miller has been released by sunderland. decent player and good squad player. wouldnt mind him here.

3 pieces from BBC's gossip column ....

MK Dons boss Paul Ince has begged striker Izale McLeod not to quit the League Two club. Leicester want him for £800,000. (Daily Mirror)

Leicester have joined the race to sign former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler. (Daily Mirror)

Birmingham want Spurs midfielder Hossam Ghaly to replace Leicester-bound Stephen Clemence. (Daily Mirror)

All 3 pieces in MM's favoured newspaper .......

Mattock shouldn't be allowed to leave. Future england international.
and Villa aren't going to sign Stearman they've got enough at RB without him.
With Fowler and Campbell in we could afford to lose Fryatt though, although i'd rather not.
Surely getting shot of Hammond and De Vries should free up the wage bill/
After all, there will be 28,000 plus for the first 5 or so games of the season with the interest in the new squad. That should keep the coffers from drying up even if the whole sqaud is on over 10k a week, which they aren't.

One more piece from the BBC thread:

Stephen Hughes has rejected a transfer to Hearts or Motherwell to remain with Leicester. (Daily Express)

Money grabbing bastard

Greedy fecker, bugger off back to Scotland:098:

What a complete twat. Would rather spend a year training picking up his over inflated salarty from us.

It's by no means certain that money is what has stopped this deal going through but if it is, why is anybody surprised? How many of us would want to tear up a lucrative contract just because the other party did not want it to continue?
