I wish this takeover would hurry up and be completed! We're missing out on a lot of good, possible targets.

Just today, Peter Whittingham has gone from Villa to Cardiff for around £350,000
Gary Teale from Wigan to Derby for £600,000
David Wright from Wigan to Ipswich (undisclosed fee)
Alan Thompson set to sign for Leeds from Celtic

Plus Stead, Liam Lawrence, Vine etc..

All players who probably would've been decent signings for us and improved the team, all moving for reasonable fees (with the exception of Vine, and possibly Stead). Even if we had gone for them, they might've preferred to go elsewhere anyway, but it would be nice to be at least in the fight to sign them!
