Re: Rumours Thread

We never offered him the job because it was clear that he was going to reject it if we did.

He wanted the job here, but in his interviews he didnt come across very well so he didnt get it offered to him

Re: Rumours Thread

dont like the sounds of this :icon_cry: :( :icon_conf :icon_cry:

Kisnorbo has been signed on a pre-deal by Birmingham, he will move there when the season finishes.

i can confirm the kisnorbo deal. I heard it on the radio here in Australia.

So is Henderson a chance of going to Villa?

He only just signed an extension to his contract with us last summer, he would only be allowed to sign a pre-contract agreement if he was out of contract in the summer which is clearly not. The only way he could go to Brum is if we sold him and I would imagine there would be a biggish fee involved

LCFC Rumours:

The manager next season won't be Newal (spelling), it will be Keegan, I have inside information that confirms this.

Next, LCFC will try and bring in out of favour Premiership striker Teddy Sheringham, as WHU are on the way down anyway, teddy feels that Leicester are about to shoot back up so he wants to join in on Millan's plans.

They will try and bring in another experienced striker in the form of Robbie Fowler, although he is more likely to join the MSL next season.

Also expect Hinkley United to become a feeder club to Leicester when Millan's plan starts to work.

100% true, as usual :icon_lol:

dk

LCFC Rumours:

Leicester will swoop for seasoned striker Neil Mellor. Expect this move to happen in the summer when Millan and KEEGAN are in charge of LCFC.

Re: Rumours Thread

Graeme Souness - Manager

Rob Kelly - 1st Team Coach.

MM likes Rob and wants him to stay to have some continuity and stability. Souness worked with kelly at Blackburn and they get along well and Souness is the disciplinarian/old head we need with a good track record.

You heard it here first.

Strange. I thought Souness was in to buying clubs now, not managing them.

Sounds good, Souness is just the type of manager we need to fire a few of these players up, and he did a decent job at Blackburn in guiding them out of the championship and stabilising them back in the top flight. Not the worst suggestion in the world.

Is this definate Dunc or just speculation ???

Souness would be dreadful. Out of the frying pan and into the inferno in my opinion. He's a really bad man manager. Kelly already has Stowell playing the bad cop to his good and it hasn't worked has it? :102:

But Stowell isn't even a legend in his own house and who would struggle to command the respect of the players, where as Souness won league titles, European trophies and countless international caps, massive difference.

It's personality that commands respect. I'd contend that Boothroyd and Jewell, neither of whom had fantastic playing careers, command their dressing rooms pretty well. And I feel fairly safe speculating that Bryan Robson and John Barnes' players held them in a fair amount of contempt. As for Stowell, he appears to be a hothead lacking sense.

Re: Rumours Thread

Leicester City will appoint Paul Ince when the season closes with Rob Kelly side stepping to the Acadamy.

Ince will appoint former England Team mates Jamie Redknapp as No 2 and Teddy Sheringham as Player/ Coach.

Other LCFC targets will include Darren Huckerby of Norwich, Paul Dickov of Man City, Neil Lennon of Celtic, Danny Mills of Man City, Danny Murphy of Tottenham and Jerzy Dudek of Liverpool.

Lcfc- Leicester are to name Jamie redknapp as manager, he will bring in his old Lfc pal Steve Mcmanaman as assistant maybe even player assistant. this will also help Leicester secure the services of hotshot Robbie Fowler. This is Fact Milan has already had meetings with Redknapp

However, concerning Keegan and Leicester, Keegan has committed himself to his new business he is running and plans to expand it. BUT, I have heard he is still considering the Leicester job and for him to do so and shy from his commitments means that Mandaric must be planning to pump in some SERIOUS money into the club.

Todorov to sign for Leicester on Thursday

Alot of rumours about leicester today on the usual website.

Re: Rumours Thread

So that's 11 managers, 5 assistants and 3 coaches for next season.

Plus 284 new players.

Wow! No wonder they are looking for a new training ground.
