I expect another 3 win is enough to send us straight up!

well, i guess ill be a mongie but im not finding this season boring at all, after 5 or so seasons of pure shite, im really enjoying this and all the winning thats going with it, couldnt give a flying **** if its against Leyton Orient and Cheltenham or not, just enjoying winning and sitting pretty at the top

Not boring as in winning, that's great.

But it's been predictable from day one, it's been drab football, and the only excitement is contrived.

The standard is shit, and to brush teams aside 2-0,3-0,3-1 etc is nothing more than expected.

It took F****t 3 yrs to get out of this lge, and with a bit of luck it will be Leeds 3rd season starting in August.
Over the years other 'big' clubs have had difficulties in getting out of this lge as well.
Whatever people think about the standard of football, the fact is that we deserved to be in this lge.
Given the challenge of getting out of it, i would say we are making a far better go of it than the other 'big' clubs that fell from grace.

:)

by this time next week we could be assured of at least a playoff place.

I'm still totally on your side, Brauny.

You're talking sense. Some of the others on this site are just now beginning to sound moany boring.

In my simple way I like this thread. It makes me smile.

If my maths are right we said "hejdå"(goodbye) to stockport and colchester yesterday.
Southend and bristol could mathmaticly get more points but would have to win every match.
But even the likes of leeds, tranmere, scuny and oldham would have to win at least 7 matches and pick up points in at least 1/2 of the there 9,10 matches.....it just aint going happen!!!
As some one else mentioned many of the teams have to play each other as well
Does anyone know what the division 1 Cup looks like?

To stop us being automatically promoted, it would require us to hit relegation form and both MK & Peterborough to have astonishingly successful run-ins.

It's quite credible that one of these these could happen and just about possible that two - but I don't think all three is at all likely.

We are now at the stage where the games start to run out and I suspect that by the end of Easter that to all intents and purposes that we will be safely out of this league.

I'm still going for the Leeds game as the day we're officially promoted/crowned champions.

I'd love it if that were to be the fixture that could consign Leeds to another season in this league. Or at least stop them going up automatically.
