Ooh! Russell Hoult!
I stated the best in the forlorn hope that a list of nobody's wouldn't follow !!
I should have known better in this place :icon_bigg
His heart?Looking at Speroni play yesterday he certainly seems to have improved. But looks like we will be playing Palace next season so he's more likely to stay where he is.
Cardiff have a chance to stay up after yesterday but possibly passing us on our way up and their keeper Marshall looks a worthwhile addition should that happen and Kasper decides to follow the £££ rather than his heart.

Isn't Marshall Scottish? Surely that's an anachronism, Scottish and goalkeeper?
I'm going to have to break this to you gently; 'anachronism' does not mean what you think it means. There has never been a Scot worthy of that title - even Primrose was born in England. I'm not quite sure what word you did want to use, but 'impossibility' might fit.

That's what I was thinking. One of those phrases, like 'Coventry City fan' or 'Christian Science' or 'German comedian', that simply don't make sense.Oxymoron?

:icon_lol:If you are going to be "picky" about Robin 127 then it would be wise to avoid the word "never". Some irritating person is always likely to come along with exceptions such as Bill Brown and Tommy Younger.
The legend of bad Scottish goalkeepers began in the 1960s when Frank Haffey had a terrible game and let in nine against England. Scots then had to put up with the jibe "What's the time - ten past Haffey" - a comment they tended to accept in their usual happy go lucky growl.

Does English 'grammar' exist in the states though? perhaps an anachronism is different over there ? Soccer, fanny, pants etc etc.
Anyway, messi looks disillusioned to me - surely only a matter of time till he links up with Phillips - apparently he grew up with his picture on his wall .............

Chemical free is my favourite.
