The Norwegian 2012 season kicked off today. Solskjaer's title defending Molde started off as if last season hasn't ended and won 2-1 away to Stroemsgodset.
Molde and Rosenborg are the big media favorites this season. Possible outsiders are Valerenga, Tromsø, Viking and Brann. But the Norwegian league is so open that there are always one or two surprises in the top three.
The Muamba incident last weekend reminded me of last season when Brann's Carl Erik Torp collapsed during a game. He survived but had to retire and is today a part time coach for Brann.
My team, Brann, kicks off away to Rosenborg on Sunday and I hope for a repeat of last season when we won 6-3(!)

Big, big game in La Liga tonight - the Madrid derby. Are Real going to bottle it? They need to win if they don't want to go to Nou Camp having to get a result.

I've always preferred Barça to Real, so... ¡Aupa Atléti!

if only there were video evidence for the alleged Peason-Mills incident?

I read a report a few days ago that suggested even Man City considered his wage demands as too much and that Chelsea were looking a favourable option. One thing is for sure, it's a lot of money!!

I would imagine Man City are already paying a few players similar amounts.

By all accounts they are paying a few players more. However, they are apparently keen not on being held to ransom and particularly so by somebody who is yet to prove himself at the highest level (not that I have any sympathy whatsoever for them, I should add).

Plus they need to sort themselves out a bit before the FFP regulations come in.

I'm disappointed Hazard went to Chelski. Looking forward to seeing how he does though.

Good England.

Twelve YES that is 12 players were sent off in this Brazilian Football game

Bit like the Bradford City vs Crawley game last season only worst

It's like the worst kung fu movie ever with all those flying kicks.

If the ref managed to send off the right 12, I'm impressed.
