Of course he wants to ****ing go. I want a Kelly Brook soapy tit wank. Kelly doesn’t fancy it though and neither do our owners.
The owners don't fancy a fit wank? Idiots

I’m trying to wear them down over time.

If that's true it's a feckin disgrace
Seriously

Those new contracts we handed out to James and Ulloa last season are biting us on the ass.The likes of James, King and Ulloa can and probably will choose to take the bucket load of cash on offer through their contract rather than playing for half the amount.
Turepremier league winning goal shy headless chicken

Out of all the crazy decisions our club has made over the last couple of years, giving new contracts to those two has to be up there.
The fact they have contracts means they have a value and cannot just walk away on a free.
They might be surplus to requirements, but that only happens when we have replacements in place here.
Just because we have money does not mean anyone we ask will choose to come here over a perceived 'more attractive' club.

we could have hired Bernie to replace JamesTo replace James on the cheap we could have promoted a youngster and hobbled them.

I have absolutely no idea where this number comes from. How have you calculated this figure? Genuinely interested.if King goes perm then he's worth at least £8m to a championship club.
What do you think he’s worth in today’s market BM?I have absolutely no idea where this number comes from. How have you calculated this figure? Genuinely interested.
No idea. 4.2 million? 180 quid and some new footballs? 50 marbles? Any answer I give would just be a random number. I don’t know which clubs are interested or how many or what kind of financial state they’re in, I don’t know anything about his contract or his agent, I don’t know what comparable players are being sold for, and so on. I know virtually nothing that would allow me to have any clue what figure represents his market value, so I’m curious what formula was used to arrive at the one above. What do you think he’s worth in today’s market BM?

There's a logic to it then. Thank you.not calculated just guestimating based on money being spent on midfield players in the championship: Etebo £6.5m, James McLean £5m, McNair £5m.
none of these are 29yo winners of league one, championship and Prem with 40 championship goals....56 total
it would seem reasonable to demand a fee that reflects the standard of player he is (which is not the low standard some on here would suggest)
he's not a 33 year old journeyman who has 'lost it' and so we should either keep him to play in the u23s and continue his commitment to the club and become a coach over time OR get the money his achievements in the game should command. he got usurped by Kante and Drinkwater (both £35m) and lost his way but he hasnt become a bad player to be given away.
