There's a logic to it then. Thank you.
But perhaps not the kind of logic that will facilitate a move in these last few hours of the window.

They stay, not sure what your problem is.
That’s exactly what I thought?Bantz. Is this the same Claude?
That’s exactly what I thought?
Maybe things have changed and there is hope for us this season
The funny thing is, before the miracle season, being a mid table Prem side would've delighted most of us...
I still can't be unhappy with that. Yes I'd love to see us push on, but I won't be unhappy with7 a top 10 finish.
True. But I think we have to move forward in life. Manchester City were nothing before all this massive investment.
They were up and down the league and very average in the PL when they came up in 2002 (or perhaps 2003) and stayed so until 2011/12.
I'm not saying we're Man City but why can't we head in that direction?
I'll say it: I am no longer content with a bottom half finish or 8th, 9th or 10th. I believe we have a great set of fans, good stadium, competitive looking squad, an improving city, excellent owners, and a very recent top flight trophy under our belt. We should be the best of the rest aiming to crack the top 6.
We can live off that title win as an attraction towards our club for another couple of years - it still ain't too late to build on that.
Maybe I'm delusional but I believe we could and should be there or there abouts every season.
or they are thinking get it done before they change their mindIf we're rushing the Slimani deal through today, maybe there's a replacement ready to come in if he leaves
It did confuse me a bit, too.If we're rushing the Slimani deal through today, maybe there's a replacement ready to come in if he leaves
Joey?If we're rushing the Slimani deal through today, maybe there's a replacement ready to come in if he leaves
that Algerian journo RL have on said Slimani had rejected the move alreadyApparently Saudi team Al Hilal are also interested and their President wants to have a 1 on 1 meet with Slimani. Hopefully they'd put in a permanent bid like the other team did with Musa. They seem to have the money to burn in that league.
