I'd imagine he would have been fined for not turning up to training or whatever it was that he missed.

The problem is, Chelsea will have probably encouraged him to kick up a fuss to try and force this through and will more than cover any potential lost wages from us with a mega signing on fee when he signs.

We're a bit screwed as treating him how he deserves to be, dumped to the reserves for a while and don't budge on the asking pride, will almost certainly be more costly to us as a club than it would be to Fofana.

Maybe if we were in a better financial position we could afford to stick to our guns but the way things are, £70-80m is much better to us than a twat of a player making a poor start to the season much harder.
 
How come this was the 3rd bid for Fofana when, according to BR at the weekend, we hadn’t received any approaches for any players?

Then he sits on the bench or in the reserves these players need to have a reality check the vast majority of this country are heading into a financial shit storm. Did Mahrez not try this and end up paying a heavy financial price?

Fine him 2 weeks wages every time he spits his dummy out, in all fairness did he not do this at his previous club, if so should we not have foreseen this coming?
 
He's been a complete shitty stained douche sponge all the way through this debacle. I am happy that the club are holding firm and, if that means Chelsea have pulled the plug, then fantastic! He's not going to stick his lip out and wibble with a World Cup and a possible move to his beloved Chelsea on the cards.

He will be worth just as much if not more to them in January or next season so they can try again with a proper valuation then.

Imagine if he plays on Saturday. Hugely unlikely, right? But, saying he does, where's his head going to be? Other than up his own arse, probably in the clouds, too. What a massive sky shit.
