Valentine's Day.

Load of commercialized crap. And expensive crap at that.

Why on earth it should cost 3/4 times what it normally does on one day a year so you can 'show' someone you love them.....when tbh you can do it any other day of the year and not pay out a small fortune!

Not that I give a monkeys.....Never have done owt on this day and very unlikely that I ever will!

Plenty of ways you can show someone you love them without spending a penny. Unless that's what turns them on, obviously.

The only way things will change is if (a) the Government protect all national team games for free telly regardless of whether its friendly or tournament or (b) people stop paying for Sky... cant see either happening unfortunately :icon_sad:

We went with plan (b).

I saw your FB status... It has pissed me off as well cos now I can't watch it either.

Feckers.

I shall just stay at home, and get drunk without the football. That'll learn 'em.

Have you ever considered venturing into a public house and watching it? :102:

You must be joking, go into a pub full of beer'd up Ingerland muppets (and possibly some Taff ones) to watch the match, better off going to the gym and doing a 2 hour cardio session on one of the machines with sky.

Ah now all becomes clear. You consider all England fans who watch the game in a pub to be beered up and muppets. No sweeping generalisation there

It's bad enough listening to some of the ill-informed opinions watching City!

Besides, I planned on having people visiting me, not me buggering off out.

Then I read this....

I can see you're planning a really special treat for me this year. :icon_roll

He only does sweeping generalisations.

To be fair, the last time we watched an England game in a pub together, in town, it was as described by Biffa. To put into perspective how long ago this was, we watched it in The Granby! :icon_bigg

The cardboard sleeves that come with DVDs that show exactly the same information as the proper cover of the DVD. What's the point?
