& so it ends for us all most likely.

I've not been well for a while & during the most serious moments last year my Mrs said to me: "When you're gone I'll probably end up watching the football on my own even though I can't stand it"

I was quite touched...up until I realised she'd said "when" & not "if"

I may have to consider my position! :-D
 
We've missed reporting the demise of Tommy Lawrence, the legendary Liverpool keeper of the 60s. Yes, the whole of the 60s and then a bit. Two league championships, one FA Cup and three Charity Shields. Died earlier in the week, aged 77

From a time when players enjoyed the game - and still clearly enjoying it in 2015 when accidentally interviewed by this BBC reporter.
