Can't see an issue with bringing in a couple of experienced heads, especially as we are losing Joey. What concerns me (should this be true) is where are our existing centre backs going? McCarthy, Kisnorbo, Gerrbrand, Stearman, Nissa - We seem well stocked in this area :102:

I expect a bid for Stearman from the Premiership.

6' 3", 12 stone, thats bigger than most of ours. Premiership experience. Sounds a good call to me, particularly if he is replacing Brevett and Tiatto.

I hope not but I suppose it's a possibility. His form has dipped a bit of late but it's easy to see he is premeirship class.

Breen is one of the worst professional footballers I have ever seen, to bring him here would be a massive backward step.

He is on the same level talent wise as Scarey Carey.

Regularess, he still unmind the manager and having two camps in the changing rooms is worse than having a shite manager.

As anyone considered Maybury or Gerrbrand going?!?

Melton will be over the moon if Maybury goes.he may go when CL gets a Managers job.I can't see Gerrbrand staying to sit on the bench all next season.

ye but he is a good defender imo which we will benefit from. If we let tiatto go and brevett then we have a very young squad, breen would bring experience as well as good performances to the team. Maybe captain??

Whether Breen or not, we definitely need some experience, but I hope that RK will persist with the clear intention from CL onwards of making Paddy Mac club captain next year - not only does he look like our best and most committed player, he is young and seems to have the respect of the players and the fans. Plus, he only has to follow in Tiatto's footsteps - that is an easy task.

On a seperate issue, Melton won't be the only one rejoicing if Maybury went - he's brainless, positionally woeful and provides very little going forward.

Same here, Highland. Probably off back to Sweden soon. But I think he's an asset to the club.

I think we need the expierienced head in the middle of the Park to replace Gudjonnson. In Mayburys defence I don't think he's been helped by having some stand in Right Wingers in front whenever he played Right Back and then hes played Left Back which he isn't.I think people like to have someone to have a go at if it wasn't him it would be someone else and hes an easy target because of the Levein connection.Go on then Melton feel free to slate

Here's a name for midfielder experienced head, a touch cocky and would be interesting to see if he wanted to step down a division.

Ray Parlour?!?

We couldn't afford his wife's maintainence. ;)

In Mayburys defence I don't think he's been helped by having some stand in Right Wingers in front whenever he played Right Back and then hes played Left Back which he isn't. Agreed, but he's the fooker that has mostly been the stand in right winger

I think people like to have someone to have a go at if it wasn't him it would be someone else and hes an easy target because of the Levein connection. Again, agreed to a certain extent, but I am a tad more intelligent than that, if I have no player to slate, I won't, I won't look for one. Maybury just isn't good enough

Go on then Melton feel free to slate - No, some good points
