IMO the biggest problem this season is that many of the senior professionals have not produced anywhere near the level of performance expected of them, hence why we have ended up in mess we were in until CL left.

Many of our better performers this season have been the youngsters such as Stearman, McCarthy, Hume, Fryatt, Kisnorbo and all too briefly Weso with many putting in levels of performance, consistency and commitment that belie(sp) their years.

This cannot be said of many of the senior pro's with IMO only Gudjonsson and Johansson showing any sort of consistency this season. Dublin, De Vries (despite his goals tally), Tiatto, Sylla and to a lesser extent Maybury have been very disappointing. It is actually these players that I believe RK will look to move on and replace. If Kelly can bring in the right calibre of player, and it is experienced players that are prepared to fit into the team ethic, Kelly is currently building, then next season can be one of great promise.

That is actually a very good point.

I personally dont think RK will be looking to change too much during the summer. I can invisage maybe only 2 or 3 players coming in with a couple of obvious departures ie De Vries, Twato and maybe Sylla (fingers crossed).

I wonder what will happen with Rufus?

Dont know but he was invited to walk around the pitch at full time unlike Elvis who seemed to be the only first team squad member not there, unless I just didnt see him?

We don't have a left back, we shouldn't dismiss Brevett yet, he appears to like the club and could be the experience at the back that we need.

His footballing ability may still be up for question, but he sounds like a decent player to have around the dressing room or training ground. Sounds like a good squad player

I would like to see Rufus stay. Good back up IMO, his experience can also help the youngsters out.

He still looked physically mobile from what I saw when he was warming up during half times which is more than can be said of Dion.

Worth a years deal on low wages if he would take it.

Did Kisnorbo do the walk round? I dont remember seeing him.

He did Birch's run for the entirity, punishment for the sending off I presume. He is part of next years plans IMO. I think he was out after the final whistle.

Here's a name for midfielder experienced head, a touch cocky and would be interesting to see if he wanted to step down a division.

Ray Parlour?!?

Alan Thompson from Celtic, out of contract in the summer, good set pieces and a bit of bite.

I saw him fading in and out a few times, to have a chat with the players warming up or to sign autographs. Didn't make much of a difference though, seemed like he was taking the micky out of the rest of the runners a bit as he'd quickly catch up with them and go past them..

And yes he was in the group going around the pitch at the end.

First time he's out paced someone this season! :)

Hope this is bulls*it - Breen is finished, and our central defence is IMO one of the best in the league.

Paddy and Paddy are solid, and with Gerrbrand and Nissa as backup it doesn't need a past it lump!

Unless, of course, we won't be having those four come the start of the new season.

Why wouldn't we? And even if we don't Both Paddy's are on long deals and would not go for cheap. With any money I would expect to do a lot better than Gary Breen.

We'll see....

By that are you implying that you know something.

This club needs to learn that we will never get promoted by selling our better players.

If the season starts without Paddy Mac and Paddy K, I will be bitterly dissapointed!
