Durham Fox
El Dude Brother.
17 squad cars, bikes and vans escorted the 3 Nuneaton coaches back from the ground. Not to mention the riot police on board. Ludicrous.
Actually, the police have to have reasonable grounds for suspecting whatever in the majority of cases, which is meant to make them accountable for their actions. They can only act "without thinking" if it's an emergency situation, i.e. danger to "life or limb" (e.g. powers of entry under PACE). Whilst they may be able to justify locking us in after the final whistle (which I still think is challengeable...), they have no more right to push people around than you and I do, regardless of whether we are coming away from a football ground or not.The thing is, the coppers aint got time to think "he looks like a thug" or "she doesn't" or whatever, and can't let some people do something and not others otherwise that would cause chaos.
