I just came across this from Ollie on the OS:

That's just bollocks isnt it, he was shit, AGAIN.

Ollie's constant defence of Cort is beginning to annoy me.

Having read Ollie's book I don't think he will ever criticize a striker publicly. I don't mind him praising Cort. I will mind if Cort is still in the team after the January window.

I'd like to read more reports from people that were actually at the game. It sounds like we were outplayed again this week but when you look at where West Brom and even Southampton are on the ladder it's hardly a shock. :icon_conf

I thought West Brom had the edge for most of the match. However, Leicester did better when Hayes replaced Chambers. This is partly because Hayes at the moment is a better player than Chambers but also because Hume switched to the right. I thought we were on top when Albion suddenly scored an excellent goal. Mattock may be an excellent prospect but I thought we missed Sheehan badly.

Thanks DW. I've often thought Hayes was pretty good. He seems to get a few crosses in and doesn't mind having the odd shot. Was Stearman responsible for our defensive lapses? It seems he's getting some flak on here today.

we both look at the game in a realistic way, my biggest problem at the moment is Stearman, at fault for the first goal, the cross should never have gone in, and the second he seem to hold back due to the bloke being seemingly offside, you must always play to the whistle.
Looking at the WBA team and ours, they had much better players who could command their space on the pitch and came at us when they wanted too.
Its no good saying we nearly matched them as they did win the game, and could have stepped up the game to win it if they needed to.
I have only missed one game at the Walkers since it opened, against Fulham last season, and to be honest I now do not really look forward to the games anymore. Things have to change and quick

I've given up going to the pictures to watch films where I know the plot, the script and the ending. Doubley so when the actors are very bad and the director then blames the viewers for the actor's inability and total lack of respect for anything they ever learnt in drama school.

I'm trying to adapt the same policy to Leicester City and it seems to be working.

Why, after playing as badly as we did yesterday, did a bunch of people gather in front of the advertising hordings as if we had won a semi-final in the FA cup or something? We were fecking dreadful again, 10 minutes of huff and puff after a fortunate goal changes nothing. Olly is going to have to perform miracles in the January transfer market just to keep us in this division.

For him to have Fryatt, DJ and CJ all back though it will be a very different threat up front IMO.

They are better options upfront than what we have but its our midfield that is so woeful that it wouldn't make that much difference if it was Torres,Rooney and Adebayor.I don't think I can remember a team of ours with such poor midfield
