Agreed a 2 1/2 year deal according to SkySports:
Morgan agrees Foxes move

Sky Sports understands Wes Morgan has agreed his move to Leicester City from Nottingham Forest.

As revealed by skysports.com earlier on Monday, Morgan was undergoing a medical at Leicester after Forest finally agreed a £1million fee for the defender.

The 27-year-old has now agreed personal terms and passed a medical at the King Power Stadium.

Morgan is understood to have inked a two-and-a-half-year deal at Leicester as he becomes Nigel Pearson's latest signing.

The move endes Morgan's long association with Forest after coming up through the club's youth ranks.

He must be good and fit. He has averaged nearly 50 games a season over the last 5 or 6 years, which includes their play-off years, so they have only recently been crap!

Because it simply doesn't add up that a squad with barely enough players to fill the bench is going to spend a million on one of the few positions we're more than comfortable in.

Morgan will only be coming if he's likely to be first choice. His record over the last few seasons for Florist is good. To be honest, over the last few games against the trees, he's the one player that has stood out as decent and I'm very happy with this move.

But if he's going to be one of the two starters, which three out of Mills, St.Ledger, Tunchev and Bamba miss out?

If we assume Tunchev is yesterday's man, that leaves at least one other for the chop. Blackburn were strongly linked with Bamba in the summer and look set to lose Samba so 2+2=4? Signing Morgan for about £800k and selling Bamba for circa £3m would be excellent business. And that is despite me thinking that Bamba has been a good player for us.

I think Mills and St.Ledger are NP type defenders and he will be happy with adding Morgan to make up that threesome. I can't imagine he's at ease with the approach from Bamba. He's not really suited to an NP team.

Bang on.

I'm fully aware we require a squad of players but having 2 players for each position who are good enough to play every game simply does not work. It was said about SSL in the summer and within 3 months there was unrest due to lack of games so it has already been proven to be an issue this year having too many players for the same position.

Why people think this will be different I do not know as Morgan has been first choice for Forest for a few years now so he's not going to be wanting to sit on the bench all the time here either.
