D.H. Peligro passed away in his Los Angeles home yesterday, October 28th.

There are several studio recodings of this track but I've linked to the regular album version.

When the single came out I was amazed how good it was. I'd been impressed with California Über Alles (with 'Ted' drumming, not D.H. Peligro) but this was a step up.
Real time punk rock.

I'm listening to Dry Cleaning at the moment, my daughter saw them in a festival in Portugal and said I'd like them. I do, just about off-the-wall enough for my tastes. I was even practicing the bass lines this afternoon after watching the match on the internet.
 
On a separate note (maybe Eb), are any of you out there old enough to have frequented the Il Rondo in Silver Street in "the old days"?

I'm a child of the 70's, 13 when the decade started. Formative years. I developed (apart from my family) the 2 great loves of my lives in those amazing 10 years. One was this ****ing football club that has, in equal measures, given me massive disappointments and unbelievable joy and the other is soul music that has never failed me and constantly surprises me when I discover gems I'd not heard before. I realise it's not to everyone's taste, but I do like to try and share this love, so in that spirit, here are a couple of tracks that I've come across recently and can't stop playing. Went to see Ash on Friday night. Extremely good value band. Never pretended to be something they aren't. Really fun night. Here's one of their best...
