I saw them 4 or 5 years ago at Rock City. I was never a huge fan of theirs back in the day, but I was really impressed with them. They were really good.

Saw a few bands on Saturday plus some wrestling. The World Is a Vampire festival. Smashing Pumpkins were very good, Jane's Addiction arguably better. Plenty of entertainment from Battlesnake. All round good gig, plus got to walk in to town and watch the Wolves match which was nice.

Currently listening to an album just bought from Bandcamp.
The new on from 'Purling Hiss' and its called 'Drag On Girard'. And I'm stunnnnned how good it is (to me).

It is a little early Dinosaur Jr, with a touch of very very early Teenage Fanclub. Mindless, meaningless, head-down driving guitar with mindless, meaningless vocals. Stoned? What do you mean?

Anyhow, I don't know anyone else this side of the Atlantic that likes it, but (for me) it's the LP of the year.
Here's the title track. You (probably) won't like this. It's amazing.

I saw Foo Fighters earlier on tv and thought they were ok. Still think you could listen to three of their tracks randomly and hear everything basically they've ever done. Middle of the road. Ghost are much better.

Ha ha that's mildly amusing. As a veteran of ten glastonburys, I know the feeling. Getting there on Wednesday and hitting it hard until boarding the coach on Monday is a marathon for sure. Always worth it though. Nowt quite like it.

He’s not somebody I’d listen to normally, but in fairness he’s got a massive catalogue of music and has the stature to carry this off. It’s impressive to watch.
