I'd like to have the confidence to set light to a fart but fear for the consequences...

I thought everyone had done that. I think I was around 14 when I first lit one. After lighting about twenty or so the novelty wore off. I think it was around that time that I tried smoking dried banana skins cos some old hippy told me you could get stoned. Then there was the time I rolled up tea leaves and as I sucked in they flew down my throat and nearly choked me leaving an empty tube of paper which burst into flames and barbecued my nose medium rare. Aaaahhh the sweet memories of a misspent youth ... :icon_conf

I'd like to be able to turn down the offer from Mandaric and continue my quiet but happy life...but I can't, the challenge is too exciting.

I think the last time I was this positive about something was when I said 'yes' to appearing in the Green Cross Code advertising campaign.

See you all at the press conference on Friday.

Foxes!
****ing A!

Have a time machine, go back, and punch twatlor in the face every day of his life.:075::021::062:

Walk up Ben Nevis
Is there a reason why you can't do it? I never can tell if you're being serious, and don't know if this is a dig at the numpties that go up there (we saw one guy in a business suit and smart shoes, and a very young French couple wearing shorts and t-shirt). If it's any consolation, I am an asthmatic, and although I did struggle to breathe the higher we went, I did make it to the top.

It is funny when the Bigheads do the reasoning and get it wrong!:081::098::icon_evil
That Judith Kepple and that CJ bloke are always losing. I don't know how they make it onto the team, to be fair.

I'm the opposite - I'd like to be able to see what my life's like a few years down the line.

May help me to make a few decisions :102:

Not a bad idea, might not like what you see though MG.

The only reason is that i'm not a fit enough but I aim to be next year.I wouldn't want to go up there unprepared like thousands of other idiots do each year

That's the whole point as I'd then be able to make my decisions accordingly.

Yes, but would you? .... If you saw something that you didn't like, you might change the decisions you made, but the outcome would still be the same because you've already seen what is going to happen, the only thing that you could influence is maybe the route that you would take.

That would be useful to me too. I'm trying to make some major decisions re a total change of career.

after reading macky's lighting farts post I decided to re-visit my youth and light one last night....

I had to light 3 fragrant candles and open the bathroom window for an hour to get rid of the stench of burning hair. On the flip side, i won't be getting tag nuts for a while....
