This is England '86

Got to be the most shocking scene I've ever watched on telly

I didn't think the series could get any more bleak. I was wrong.

Absolutely incredible stuff though, some of the best television I've watched in years.

Watched the first episode of Boardwalk Empire this afternoon. It's a new series set in Atlantic City during the prohibition in the 1920's, written by one of the chaps who did The Sopranos, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Steve Buscemi.

It was absolutely awesome and looks set to be an absolutely phenomenal series, could even be better than The Sopranos to be honest.

I can't see or hear that word without thinking of the Muppet's song "Mah Nah, Mah Nah".

"Phenomenal, doo-doo, doo, doo, doo"

... and from now on, neither will you

sir gary of winston in the gayest walkers crisps ad ever!

now, that harry and paul are on the telly, and they do look like queers....

Least funny person on TV.

Not by a long shot. You're obviously one of the few lucky people left that hasn't had the misfortune of witnessing the comedy blackhole that is Michael MacIntyre.

I'd find watching a post-mortem on a much loved, close relative funnier than anything that **** could come out with.
I'd really, really love to fight him.
