No different, flags is something for the kids.

As said before, everyone in the 60s/70s had a scarf so this would be encouraging you older supporters to try and recreate the old atmosphere as it is plain to see that all the older supporters are in completely against all this new wave atmosphere.

Bring it back I say. Nothing better than kicking the shit out of Cov fans after a match.

I a talking about the total cost of me going to the game including everything as opposed to not going at all.

As I keep saying, I'm talking about your original estimate of £1500 for TICKETS AND TRANSPORT, which was more than twice what it should be.
Anything extra you spend is optional, and shouldn't be used as an excuse for not going to the match. You have to eat and drink whether you go to a match or not, there's no reason why it should cost you more to eat and drink in Leicester than it does in Manchester.

Haven't got a clue, I wouldn't travel that far by bus. I only know the cost of the train because it's a journey I've done plenty of times before.

just thinking because poor old M17TT can afford to buy a scarf, but cannot afford to get to the games, just looking at other alternatives for the poor sod. To be fair if he was that bothered he would find a way to attend matches...:icon_wink

Well I would of changed my original post if you could edit it for longer than 5 mins or whatever it is!!

Also if I went to a football match, I would have a pint before and at half time but I don't do that when I watch the scores on Soccer Saturday!

Well, maybe. I'm trying to get my head around this modern 'banter' with the opposing fans. Seems to be weedy under-10s playground taunts, not offers of violence readily accepted either inside the ground or out.

I didn't realise that was compulsory. I hope the club doesn't catch me not having a half time pint. Any idea what the punishment is?

you get sent in to the 1884 for a coffee and a pink wafer with the rest of the puftas :icon_lol:

Never said it was, it was just something I would do when I go to the match so therefore adds to the total cost of me going to watch a game!
