How weird footie is - 2 months ago no one wanted miserable GM and now he is in the middle of tug of war between the foxes and and a well established premiership team.

I bet Mr Megson can't beleive it!!!!

I wonder what Shalamara has to say about a club approaching a Manager currently under contract.

Fcuking Cnut!!!

Nothing... because it's not nasty Leicester doing the approaching. Culy haird cooont.

Because the terms of a standard employment contract don't prevent you from talking to other parties in industry without express permission. Football Managers do.
what contract has meg dog signed.
and you have to be very green if you think contracts stop people from finding out whats available elsewhere.it goes on in all walks of life.

Oh dear...can we assume that any potential loanee wouldn't want to come to a club with the managers position in doubt?

I doubt that would feature too highly in anyone's thinking. Most players who go out on loan are just Roy Keane for first-team football, it's not often a player is thinking first and foremost about his long-term future when he decides on a loan move. More likely they want to be playing regularly and maybe in the shop window too. Can't see it going against us (look at the signing of Ferreira when we didn't even have a manager)

It's grey every day. Getting a bit cold. Winter is around the corner. But guaranteed to fill me with cheer is the obligatory last sentence whenever a club is looking for a new manager...

"Graeme Souness has also been linked to the club."

FACT.

this is a great oppotunity for meg dog to win the remaining doubters and detractors.

if he pledges his future here, well, even boc might change his mind

Why bring me into it? I've got no great feeling for Megson, it's true. But I've got no great feeling that he shoud go - nor, in fact, that he should stay. He's the manager now - there'll be another one when he goes.

Kiss yer arse, yer arse - as Doris Day used to so lovingly sing!

But have no fear Pablo,we have Kaebi waiting in the wings, the saviour of LCFc,World Beater,he must be he was sensational against Quorn and just has soon has he can string a few words of the 'Queens English' together he will be out there, terrorising defences

Stop the type-casting HF

Kevin Keegan didn't exactly rule himself out earlier this week. :icon_wink

If I was Megson I'd fcuk off away from this club and it's vindictive fans ASAP.

The fact most of the complaints towards him are centred around the colour of his hair is ridiculous.

He's settled the defence, realised MDV is a complete idiot, dropped Hume when others daren't, got us through two cup rounds, and generally made us look a little more stable.

I'm "fairly" happy with him and expect him to start moving us forward with more goals soon.

Well I hate to say it Melts.................

.................but I agree with you

Milan Mandaric Statement
Following widespread speculation in the media regarding Bolton Wanderers' interest in our manager Gary Megson I can confirm that the Premier League club approached us early yesterday morning seeking official permission to speak to Gary. That approach has been completely rejected.

Such interest and continuing media speculation has inevitably had an unsettling influence and is neither invited or welcome.

I have worked tirelessly to bring stability to this club and showed immense faith in Gary to bring him here after a sustained period out of the game. While interest from a Premier League club appears flattering and vindicates my decision to bring Gary to the Walkers Stadium he remains an integral part of my plans to bring top flight football back to this club

I am a great believer in loyalty, trust and integrity. Gary made a commitment to this football club, the supporters and myself and I fully expect him to honour that commitment.

I therefore have no doubts in my own mind that Gary will reiterate his commitment when he talks publicly in the next 48 hours.

It is also important to point out that contrary to claims today Gary Megson has not spoken to Bolton Wanderers and furthermore is bound by a legally binding contract at Leicester City Football Club.

IMO this is the point Mandaric is trying to get over!

I hope those going to the game tomorrow are taking their "Please Don't Go Gary" placards with them......

Why?
It's utter gash, designed to big him up

Pure Mandaric

We'll see Milan on SSN later saying how great he is, and giving a big "Hands Off" warning to Bolton

When in fact I suspect it has never even entered their heads to consider him in any way shape or form
