Curtis will have been well aware that Lee's job was on the line, he may have actually been involved in the decision making process that saw the end of Little Sam, wonder if he advised his client a certain Mr Megson to delay signing his contract with his new club because of this potential vacancy and then advised the Bolton chairman to approach Leicester because Megson would be a cheap option and he collects a tidy commission.

I understand the facts of the situation, as relayed so far...
...but no one has said what Curtis is meant to have actually done.
And, what the feck is a "Football Advisor" anyway? No wonder Notlob have a problem in the league this season if they need someone to advise them about "football".
Maybe we shouldn't get rid of Megson in order to improve the performances...maybe we just need one of these new-fangled Football Advisor's?

He was interviewed on SSN - said he met with Gartside and Curtis last week, was promised the job, heard nowt, and then found out Curtis was acting for Megson and pulled out 'cos he thought he was being stitched up good and proper
