MM has confirmed that Bolton have made a second approach for Megson, but he has turned it down.

MM also confirmed that GM hasn't signed a contract, but says it is a complicated legal situation and even though it's not been signed he's still legally tied to LCFC.

I don't understand why Milan keeps rejecting the approaches, its obvious Smegson wants to go and we aren't going to move forward under him - I knew this season would be eventful, never would have guessed it would be anything like this!!!

I guess its a 2 way street, MM could have used it to his advantage when he got bored of Megson. I doubt very much he would have forseen an approach so soon so wouldnt have been pushing the issue from his end.

So wouldn't someone who has yet to sign a contract as our Manager be pretty dumb to rule himself out of the running for a job elsewhere (particularly at a higher position club)?

Wouldn't he be wise to ensure that the terms of his current employment were verified first?

Hence his silence on the matter til today. He's obviously now got the contract certainty that he wants.

Can't blame the man for a bit of silence in this context surely? If he had said anything it would have been a bit embarrassing for MM.
