The annoying thing for us is that the club is being well run and has been since Ridsdale and Jonesy took control. Ridsdale restructured the inherited outstanding debts created by Hamaan and that feckwit Lennie (now I'll screw Bristol Rovers) Lawrence, got the new stadium moving independently from the debt, and Jonesy has made do with shrewd free transfers, loans, and bargain basement purchases (totalling less than £2m) along with having to sell his best players (Chopra, Gabbidon, Kavanagh, Gunther, Earnshaw etc) to make ends meet. I'd be happy if we both stayed up, but on the evidence I've seen, and your (collective) comments, Ollie isn't the man to take you forward (see my new signature).

Are you the exception that proves the rule? :102:

Apparently there is 3 clubs near death in the 92 and a further 7 staring the barrel. I heard Southampton were one of the three.

But I wouldn't like to happen to anyone and that's talk from our situation not so long back.
Id say "staring at the barrel" was also "near death" TBH.

If every club went into admin we might have a slim chance of play offs.

Im all for it.

When is this court case ment to happen?

We need an evil judge on this case, ah..............Mr Freisler

Let's face it, these things run and run so it's unlikely any points deduction is resolved for a few weeks. Even if the case goes against them there will be one last ditch rescue attempt after another.

IMO this court case is a personal vendetta led by Sam Hamaan. If it were purely business it would never have made the courts. He wants the club to go bankrupt so he can step in and buy it back bargain basement now the new stadium has the green light. Personal opinion only with no factual evidence.
And don't be too quick to write us off if the worst happens and we do go into admin. 10 points off would put us 6 points behind you with 2 games in hand.
I ****ing knew it.......

Oh and we'd be 3 points behind you with 2 games in hand after doing Hull tonight.:)

No local info. My understanding is that the case hangs on legal interpretation of some of the terminology in the loan agreement/amendment. As with any of these sort of cases it will come down to the judge. My guess would be that we have a case or Ridsdale wouldn't have gone to all the time and trouble he has to fight it.
Hamaam is just trying to get the money back which he covertly loaned himself during his chairmanship. Either that or he wants control back. Just showed he was trying to bleed us all along the slimey Arab.
Crazy thing for us is if we survive the week we are still not out of the running for a playoff place.

Full spectrum of emotions at this time.

RHYDAL I hope you dont go into admin I wouldnt wish that on any club and in the event you do go into admin not only do I think you will stay up anyway but I also would find it wrong if you went down because of it. I dont agree with these points deductions all as a result of us getting promoted the year we went into admin and the rules have been created as a result I also think leeds have been treated very wrong and hope they win their court case, they took advantage of a loophole tough luck to the league.

Pretty sure I read that even if they get to Wembley they could run into serious trouble if they lose their court case.

If so, then fantastic.

I'm simply desperate for us to stay up and end this season for good.

couldn't agree more son

I'm pretty sure we would have gone up anyway, even with a 10 point deduction.

We would have done!

IMO Cardiff wont lose the court case and therefore wont go into administration. Even if they do, they would still pull themselves clear by the end of the season!

Maybe I am alone in this - but I hope that Cardiff don't go down because of this.

The only outcome I want to see from this situation is that Hammam gets cancerous Aids of the eyeballs.

A club like any other club being f*cked over by some little-dicked cnut...which, without a great leap of the imagination, could be us very soon.

If we are to avoid the drop then let it be because we did it - not because we benefited from the misfortunes of someone else (unless it was Leeds).

My double standards know no bounds.

I'm pleased that the sly fecker Hammam has been outed as a lying spiv as a result of this. I still can't understand how many people were prepared to believe his stories about Wimbledon's stadium.

But I am sad that our chairman is good mates with him.
