I can't quite understand why you and your friends at Swansea and your Wrexham neighbours are in the Football League at all.
I remember going to see the Manic Street Preachers at the Millenium Stadium. Robert Croft took some serious abuse that night from the Welsh for representing England.

I remember at the time thinking about the hypocrisy of it all. Especially with the football teams representing the English league, Ryan Giggs, Mike Smith etc etc.

Buy Hey ho.

Melts, not quite sure why you mentioned Ryan Giggs. He was born in Cardiff, but went to an English school. The criteria for representing a country at schoolboy level is the country your school is in, so that's why Giggs represented England schoolboys. Anything above that he represented Wales.

Shut up, details are shit.

All relative isn't it.

I was taking account that almost all the premier league players who are Wales qualified seem to find endless excuses why they can't play in most of their matches. Given that, they don't do so bad.

like michael owen, gives the pathetic 'excuse' that he is english...

They dont do to badly considering the pool of players they have to choose from, i cant stretch to "highly successful" though :icon_wink

When is the decision due? To be honest I don't care what happens - we suffered horrid times and received no sympathy so why should we offer sympathy to other clubs?

Never know, Robbie might bail us out in the event.

Look Robbie is facing a tough time given the threat to property prices - you can't expect him to cough up his own money - even if it is only loose change to him.

Being half serious for a moment, am I right in thinking that this matter has been brought on by poor checking of the legal documentation relating to the length of the loan?

I think it is a difference of opinion of which documentation is current with regards to the loan, as Ridsdale has stated that he and his team renegotiated the loan with regards to better terms, whilst the other party claims it is the original documentation that is current, which they say has a clause where the total loan value can be reclaimed at any point

So it's going to full trial... am I right in thinking they could yet go in to administration before the end of the season?

I'm not ruling it out. But this was the best outcome we could have hoped for. Don't see it going to high court. Would expect sense to prevail and a deal to be done out of court.
But then it is Sam Hamaam so who knows.

There will be a two month delay to try to agree out of court - if they can't agree I wouldn't have thought it will be listed to go before the High Court until late summer at the earliest.
