Maybe I am alone in this - but I hope that Cardiff don't go down because of this.

The only outcome I want to see from this situation is that Hammam gets cancerous Aids of the eyeballs.

A club like any other club being f*cked over by some little-dicked cnut...which, without a great leap of the imagination, could be us very soon.

If we are to avoid the drop then let it be because we did it - not because we benefited from the misfortunes of someone else (unless it was Leeds).

My double standards know no bounds.

:038: Couldn't agree more DB

Agreed.

On a related issue,I don't particularly like the automatic 10 points deduction rule. I think every case should be dealt with on its individual merits. Some clubs like Leeds - and us to be honest - went into administration through high risk decisions; others like the Bournmouths are always just struggling to keep going anyway.

That's not true, although city were taking on high debt to fund the new stadium and a high cost playing staff they had agreement from all of their creditors to continue until pennis wise and eric hall put a winding up order before the courts, we had no control on this.

Just remembering better times :icon_bigg, if only we knew then what we know now.

Everytime any team is in financial difficulties we get mentioned, it's not as if we are the only ones to have had problems, the majority of the football league has been in or near admin at some point.

That's what I would define as high risk decisions.

I realise this has been dragged up many times - but people don't have to read it and the facts are that we based our planning on the assumption of continuous premiership football; Taylor and the then directors made dreadful decisions on signings; we went down and all the stuff about Wise and his agent was end game machinations.

Judgement expected today. On current standings, a 10 point deduction would take us 5 points behind you with two games in hand.
If any of you hear first could you put me out of my misery please (put the guns back in the cupboard :018:).

:090:

Good luck, RHYDAL, and the rest of you Cardiff fans.

It would be a crying shame if anybody at Leicester City kept their jobs because of the "off field" failings of another club, and not because of their genuine ability to be good at their paid profession.

Agreed. I wouldn't want that cnut Hamann getting his way with anyone.

A 10 point deduction is probably for the best, what with Swansea coming up and all that. 1 Welsh team in the championship is more than enough in anyones book :icon_wink

By that reckoning, and with Forest potentially coming back up it, should be either you or Cov going down. 5 Midlands teams in any league is far too many.:icon_wink

10 points will not be deducted. This has got bullthrap written all over it.

Leicester City were the only Club to vote against the ten point deduction rule. :icon_wink You voted for it, you suffer the consequences. :icon_bigg

As much as it would hurt to see us go down, i wouldn't want us to stay up if we didn't deserve to. Good luck Cardiff.

See it as an opportunity rather than a threat.

I can't quite understand why you and your friends at Swansea and your Wrexham neighbours are in the Football League at all.

You have your own FA; a highly successful national team - so why can't you say stuff it to the Football League and become the Chelsea of the Welsh Premier League. I realise that there would be some suffering - e.g. loss of police overtime pay wherever you happen to be playing - but I'm sure it would be for the best.
Best wishes.

:icon_lol: How did you come to that conclusion?
