Welcome Claudio, now get us in the champions league please! :)

The forum won't exist. Ranieri will have destroyed the club by then and Jeff will have turned TB into a site for scat and midget porn. I called this, just remember that in the future.
Scat and midget porn? I'm in!!

Bring out the pillows!

People are talking about keeping shaky, Walsh and Kevin Phillips on board no mention of Teflon Stowell who by my count could be working under his seventh manager here

With a little tinkering, we'll have a season without the fear of relegation

I have absolutely no idea what Shakespeare adds to the club, aside from being NPs buddy. Can anybody say what it is that he does?

Walsh is clearly an asset and it would be sensible to retain him if at all possible. As CR worked with him for four years, this would seem realistic. Walsh is also pretty settled in Leicestershire.

Phillips seems to add something in that he links up with the stats people on match days and coaches the strikers, pretty well from what I can work out. I'd like him to stay.

Stowell is a charlatan and should have been ousted years ago. None of the keepers get anything from him and his contribution as lead coach of set pieces at the club makes him patently inept.

Lets hope Chelsea have won the league by the final game, and if we require a win, surely they will let Ranieri get it :), great thinking owners!

I think I'm right in saying that there is no love lost between CR and JM. I think there is every chance that they will be doing that ignoring each other business in the dug outs.

I'm delighted we have a manager who holds a similar opinion of that prick JM.

Claudio is going to get our boys right up for that game, hopefully we can give them a Utd.

This really is depressing and proof should it be needed that our owners really are clueless. They got lucky with Pearson but this is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Gone by Christmas with £3M in his pocket and leaving us with a string of overpaid shite players on lengthy contracts. Mark my words.
You sir, are turning into a proper miserable feckpig.

I don't mind reservations but this level of detailed fortune telling is a load of old bollocks, are you trying to get a job on 1053 Talk Shite?

I don't see it ending well. Has the same stench as the Sven saga. Old timer looking for pension payout.
Doomed.

I don't agree, I think he's much more focussed and driven.

Can't see him wanting his last big chance to be a **** up.

The movements behind the scenes are now of the biggest importance, let's see what happens there.

These people would have been the same no matter who we appointed, minus Big Sam.

At least Claudio is straight into it today in Austria, no slow start or waiting for the lads to return, he's getting straight in and doing his job, doesn't seem like someone who doesn't have the motivation any longer.

Am I the only one who believes that signing Cambiasso again would be a bigger, more important, signing than our new manager?

"certainly better than Jock Wallace's was." Jock Wallace spoke English? I have bided my time - I live in Serbia and the locals were unimpreseed by their own fomer-Serb Preki - so I am glad that is over. I was an unasheamed fan of NP, but, like any fan, I will follow whomever is chosen. CR is no bit-player on the English manager-go-round and has a fine club record in many countries and, it follows, should be given a chance. I shall support the manager until the day he leaves or is forced out. And then, the next one too, and the one after that. But I which I hadn't used that rationale for Martin Allen! I see brighter days, I look forward to watching the first match and a win against Sunderland and shouting at the TV at the same time as all of you!
