That's the point of football, it's about community. You're free to support Real Madrid and France but in my opinion you won't experience football as it should be experienced. I've supported Leicester through some awful times and I would keep supporting them if we got relegated to league two. I'll do the same with England as well.
So, if I moved to Spain, I should support that national team as I'd be surrounded by Spanish fans? Seems bizarre.

No, you're from england aren't you?
But you said it was about community and I'd get more from it because I'm in England. To be honest, I just don't get international football, never have. It seems like another form of patriotism, which is odd in itself. I know a lot of English people and many are arseholes who I'd rather not be tied to by some geographical affiliation.

Why do you support Leicester then? Not everyone in Leicester is a saint. I don't understand it.

That's exactly my point, I chose to support Leicester. You're saying people shouldn't choose a national team to follow.

You've also crossed two points, not sure if it's on purpose. I don't get national chest-thumping, St George's waving patriotism, because I don't get why I should be proud to be English. It seems a bizarre concept to me. I don't care about the national football team because I have no draw to them. They aren't a team I've chosen to follow, but would be doing so because it's expected as an Englishman. It's not a difficult concept.

My position is completely consistent. I don't think you should choose either. If I was supporting any team that I didn't feel I had to support then I'd care a lot less about football. But feel free to disagree.

Looks like Chilwell and Mount will be out of tomorrow night's game against Czechia, their cuddling with Chelsea teammate Billy Gilmour at the end of the Scotland game means they have to go into isolation.

Daft twats!

It's got to be more than that surely? All players are hugging eachother and all sorts of shit.
