It's a right bitch when you just want to get behind Di Caprio and the lads.

Exactly Lako!

I remember Filbert Street, I used to pay to stand in Pen3, but being a rebel I always sat down. **** 'em!

I was sat next to the Fosse Boys and I wouldn't say the Kop 'all got behind them'. There were plenty of people who thought they were a bunch of annoying tosspots and wanted them to feck off.

Some friends who have STs nearby say they will be asking if they can move seats if the Fosse Boys are there for the rest of the season they were so irritated by them.

They sit in the KOP and were irritated by people generating atmosphere?

Probably best if they move to the main stand.

Did they say what it was that they have done that has irritated them so much?

It will always be the same as along as it's the cheapest part of the ground. At the very core (despite my impression that to make it Ultra-like is virtually impossible) is the desire to simply create atmosphere.

Well if we don't win matches we can now blame it on the ultras for not stirring enough atmosphere up.

Not in the Kop but still close enough.

Each to their own.

The attitude of some people on this topic is a complete surprise to me.

I have a season ticket in L1 for the atmosphere this season, and personally I find the lack of atmosphere at our ground to be an embarrassment. A strong atmosphere is historically the attraction to the game for many people. There is nothing wrong with having areas of the ground which respect the wishes of those who want to enjoy the game more conservatively, and similarly there is nothing wrong with areas of the ground designed to generate an atmosphere. A good atmosphere can be created if everyone sits down, but it's a lot harder to do, and we've failed to do it consistently in this stadium since we moved into it. A bit of encouragement for those who try wouldn't go amiss.

No wonder we only get 21,000 for first day of the season.

I would very much doubt that a few hundred Fosse Boys standing, yelling and singing will add 10,000 to the gate.

... but our version of signing someone like Bellamy might do if this £10million is real.

Surely Man City must have loads more good players to offload now they are limited to a 25 man squad?
