The FT complaining about not knowing the identity of the 'third owner' and yet refusing to tell people the amount of members they have is very funny. :icon_lol::icon_lol:

Don't forget Andy from Long Eaton.

I almost had until you mentioned him. I hated hearing his whining voice on RL when he came on giving his football wisdom:icon_bigg

Not heard him recently on the Moan In perhaps Sven being on board has finally shut the tosser up. I mean this is the guy who even moaned about MON and never seemed to have a good word about any of City's managers even when they were doing well.

I'm sure RL used to put him on so he would wind all us proper City fans up so much that we would ring in the show.

No it's not, it's awfully tiresome that people keep on bringing this up, you know. :icon_roll
Which part? The third owner or the trust membership, or both.
Personally I think the whole shooting match is a hoot.

I doubt even Ian Bason is a member of the Foexs Trust any more.

Look at FC United of Manchester. Look at AFC Wimbledon. It's clear that not everybody feels the same way about their support as you do.

Some people have principles and do not pay money to the Glaziers and their ilk. Many of the people who do pay money to the Glaziers are not football fans in the sense that many of us understand; they are there for the occasion; they buy packages which include travel, hotel and match tickets - this is what ManYoo is now about - it is not football as we know it. If that's OK with you, I'm very happy for you.

FC United, that stood up for football being played at 3pm on a Saturday in disgust at our media led game......

Then were delighted to play Rochdale in the FA Cup on a Friday night for a bit of TV cash :081:

I agree with Wimbledon as an example, but FCUM or whatever are full of turd...

exactly, you cannot fault AFC Wimbledon as their club was being relocated and renamed. The club was effectively dead.
The tosser at FC United just threw the toys out of the pram because of who had bought them. United have still won the CL and the premiership with the Glaziers there albeit with a lot of debt, but then again there will be plenty of buyers if they ever came on the market even with all that debt.

There's no mention of Saturday 3pm in FCUM's mission statement. Just kick off times which are fan friendly..., 7.45 on a Friday literally a fifteen minute drive away from your current ground isn't too much of an issue. Plus the money has been earmarked for their new stadium.

In the league, they are actually struggling as they can't afford to push the playing budget.

So when the club actually told their fans to boycott their boxing day fixture at Curzon Ashton when it was moved for live coverage?? I suppose that is different as that was then, and this is now?

It does matter to some people and I for one would like to know. I can then decide whether or not I want to pay my money towards something I don't believe in.

I see no need to berate a group of individulas who are asking for answers.

Some people seem to be happy sheep who take absolutely everything the club feed to them. If you are such a sheep and you are happy with that then fair enough, but don't get on the case of others who would like to know what they are putting their hard earned money towards.

Oddly enough these people probably also have the best interests of the club at heart.

What will happen if the Football league pat the FT on the back for pointing out the horrid crime this club has done...... and then deduct 10 ****ing points of us?

Then it will have been the clubs fault won't it.

I would like to know who it is but its not going to make difference to how we support out club once we do.
If it someone who has a dodgy background what can we do about it?
I know I wouldnt stop going! Look at Man U, their fans hate the owners and many wear the green and yellow scarfs yet they still continue to go to the games paying money to the Glaziers. There is very little we as supporters can do. The Foxes Trust will alienate the club with actions like this and will get no support from any future owners should they wish to collect our money to buy a place on the board.

Have you never heard of

That fixture switch went back on an agreement earlier in the season that no Saturday afternoon 3pm fixtures would be touched. It was 29th December to be pedantic. Even the home club didn't want the change.

The fixture between Rochdale was announced for the Friday evening within two days of the draw and FCUM entered the FA Cup with knowledge of a possible TV game. The financial windfall and prestige of the game was far more productive for the whole goal of the club than being put on a internet PPV game which only non-league fans would hold interest.

So where is the problem? The FT really are shite bags.

Important things like where did the VAT money go to and **** all is done about that. Simple maths and that shows a LOT of money they trousered.

Even the Football League do not expect the clubs to take 6 months to reveal the information to fans, we have had many conversations with them and it that is not what they want, so if that is the timescale taken, we expect the League will amend time frames.

VAT money - suggest you read the minutes of the last FCC meeting where we raised it again, noticabley the club is dragging its heels on holding FCC meetings too, a meeting is well overdue now.

And when that happens I'm sure every club will comply

Fact is, the club don't have to declare these matters until after April 2011, whether the Football League want them to or not. They are currently not in breach of any rule whatsoever - only the 'spirit' of a rule that doesn't come into force until next year

I don't see how that counters my argument that they are full of shite and have double standards...unless it is the point of fans friendly kick off times, if anything an evening kick off at Curzon would be better than Rochdale I suspect (without knowing the exact public transport between the grounds)

Their goal (as you say) includes "The Board will strive wherever possible to avoid outright commercialism". They had first refusal on the kick off time and choice whether or not to sell out to ESPN, and they bit their fecking hands off. Unless subscription TV like ESPN is not seen as commercial.
