Should the real candidate be either Larry or Billy, then I would suggest we don't need any sweetners, I think both/either would be popular appointments.
Well what does that tell you, then........?

Yeah.. like Colin W was a no-no and if Milan had ignored the fans and appointed him we'd never have gone down.. IMO anyway
As much as I can't stand the guy..

He doesn't have anywhere near the record Warnock has.
What are Gregory's achievements?
A decent 3 month spell at Villa. At only Villa, did he win more games than he lost.
Has a decent record as assistant at a club not a million miles away... :icon_eek:
Being a good assistant doesn't make you a good manager.

And we have seen the likes of Rob Kelly excelled in a management role? :icon_roll

For the last time Colin was never interested in us!!!!!
MM only suggested he had listened to the fans AFTER Colin had said he wasnt interested :icon_roll

In much the same way we are pillorying JG, when his previous track record would not suggest that he would be all that bad.
Have we really sunk so low that some people actually think that John Gregory would be an acceptable appointment ?
Incredible

Premiership and Championship experience, has a better record then billy Davies in the prem why is everyone complaining :icon_lol::icon_lol:
His previous record suggests he would be pretty bad. Have you looked at his stats?
Or did Colin come out and say he was never interested in us after MM told him he wouldn't get the job?
Willlow, I know you wouldn't pull stories out of your own arse but for the sake of the more sceptical, how do you know this?
Also, was Colin not interested because he knew our fans are fickle tossers that would have hounded him until he moved on, in a similar way to how we treated Megson and had already started their rumblings and discontent and he hadn't even been appointed?
In much the same way we are pillorying JG, when his previous track record would not suggest that he would be all that bad. Especially when compared with our current position.
