Holloway Staying

I haven't got my arse stuck up Holloway's. If you look on this very thread, I have ripped him to as regard tactics. Look at Oldham, Palace, Charlton - all bear scars from his tenture there. Megson and Warnock have done decent jobs this season - simple but Dowie fecking aint in his past 4 seasons.

If you had you should be in the Circus

the article was in the Telegraph as posted, I thought this was a forum to post your opinions and viewpoints , sorry if you don't like mine but I have every right to post mine.

You are dreaming if you think that Mandaric would have kept Holloway on if he was serious about remaining at Leicester, unless he really has lost it. Time will tell. Again my opinion, I've only supported Leicester for 42 years what would I know.

I don't actually think he is keeping him on though.

I struggled at first to know what you were talking about - a reference would have been useful.

You claimed in your post that there had been a Press Release. In fact there had been nothing of the sort. What you were referring to was a speculative article in a newspaper - a Press Release is something quite different.

I haven't suggested that you shouldn't post your opinions and/or views - but believe that posters should be accurate in what they write. In this case you were posting neither an opinion or a view but claiming something which was inaccurate.

Congratulations on your 42 years of supporting City. My history can similarly be traced back to the 22nd January 1966 at Villa Park - so SNAP!!

As little as I do after only 36 years. :icon_conf :icon_bigg :icon_wink

I would say that I have seriously supported City for over 20 years only, before I was 16 I was mainly trying to have sex.

Honest if nothing else Alex:102:

From the BBC rumours page. :icon_wink

Ian Holloway has refused to resign as Leicester boss leaving owner Milan Mandaric to decide whether he deserves the sack after the club dropped into League One. (Sun)

How about this for a theory - with no substance behind it: 5 live has just said that Tony Adams, the Portsmouth assistant manager, has not signed a new contract because he wants to return to management. Could MM be waiting for him?

There is a rumour going round that MM is selling the club at a slight loss and he's leaving the sacking of Holloway to the new owner so that they have to pay the compensation.

I'm not claiming that it's true, just passing on what I've heard.

To be honest all this talk of MM wanting out and MM selling the Club is just wild guessing. He says he is staying but of course people know better

To be brutally honest, if I had a few million and a big ego (one out of two isn't bad), I could find better clubs in which to invest.

My point is he can only say that he is staying if people choose not to believe that then is not a lot else he can say.I'm in a minority I know but I don't want him out and I think we are a lot better off with him than without him

Unfortunately H, the power that Holloway has over certain sections of support is turning them against MM.

I know I jokingly refer to it is a sect or a cult, but it really is looking that way. These people refuse to lay any blame at the feet of Holloway, so the only thing they can do is turn against MM, it's pretty disturbing really.

What's as bad is they can't see it, they have been brainwashed.

Or...

That perhaps the blame for this season isn't entirely Ian Holloway's and that MM has royally ballsed a few things up. When he decided to go to the press last week, I cringed. If ever there was a time to just belt up it's now. We have had a shocking season, therefore let's get our heads down and work things out for the best of the club and for next season. By going 'live' with all this information just adds further attention on our plight IMO, and I am not sure that's a good thing.

Overall though, I am delighted with MM and what he is trying to achieve at our club. I know how financially bad we were prior to his investment and I think we all owe a debt of gratitude to him for this.
