im feeling very thankful today. My dad had a head on collision with a lorry on his way to work at 4am today, thank god he's alright. I have never seen anyone suffering from severe shock before. isnt very nice i must admit.

I still cant quite believe it, the car is a total write off.

I have never seen anyone suffering from severe shock before. isnt very nice i must admit.

A few years ago I suffered from Hypothermia which resulted in severe shock. It's ****ing awful. Prior to that I always thought shock was a mental reaction and not a physical one.

But, I'd rather have shock than be dead, so your old man is lucky to be suffering from shock the same as I was. I hope he's OK soon

Thank goodness he wasn't more seriously injured although shock can be very nasty. Be warned though he might need some TLC for quite a while. My husband was involved in an accident a few years back and although not seriously physically injured he kept having nightmares and flashbacks for months.
