I'm a bit hyper me. I just told my Executive group that the Emperor has got no clothes on and just why that was. The silence was shattering! I got a quick gob-full of abuse from my Manager as we left the board room and I have now had a meeting invitation to join him and HR for a performance discussion at 16:00 today.

Looks like I'm on me way out! Threats galore! He got so worked up he started spitting when he told be how much damage I had done! I just held eye contact throughout and let him bluster on and on. The HR manager started doodling after about 20 minutes. When he had finished I just said "if we are all done here just let me know what you intend to do". Then I got up and went home. He's a complete twat so I expect he'll do what he can to remove me, but hey ho.

I repeated my assertion that the 1.6 million that he had persuaded the board to spend on propping up our data centre was false economy, we need to migrate to the next generation platform otherwise we would be unable to support the business model in our corporate plan.
