Farm Shop Assistant
The post-holder will be a key member of the team within the shop, responsible for providing an excellent service to customers of the business. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, and work in varied areas such as the butcher and deli counters, as well as the coffee shop. You will also undertake general housekeeping duties for the team. In addition, you will have a flexible approach, and be able to adapt to differing duties as needed to support the day-to-day operation of our company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as an initial point of contact and assist customers
• Provide support to your team and other departments within the business
• Provide excellent customer service
• Contribute to housekeeping to maintain high standards
• Basic food preparation (training provided)
• Basic beverage preparation (training provided)
• Waiter, serve and help stock take
• Cashier responsibilities
• Organising and packing organic boxes
• Record keeping
