Or because the manager was trying to change things. Something he has been accused of not doing. You can't have it both ways.he's been subbed at HT 2 games running for being poor, thats why

That's the other endMine too.
Load of old shit.
I don't agree. I think Shakespeare is suffering the anger and hangover of the Ranieri sacking and of some of the players letting themselves down last season. I think if a Mancini had taken us to 12th last season from where we were many critics of CS would be talking about how well he had done. They'd also be much more willing to accept the results we have had this season and give him more time.Yes I do. I don't think the criticism of Shakespeare (for want of a better phrase) has anything to do with him not being a 'big name'.
I don't know.
If we sack him and get someone else in, I don't know if they'll succeed either.
I agree that Mooy played very well. But in that hole in midfield that we do not seem to play in, most players appear to excel. Our current set up is seriously flawed with our current midfield personnel. They are a strong outfit with some fantastic talent, none more so than Mooy who was brilliant throughout
Keep clutching at your positive straws chaps.
Surely that is only what you see in a few positions? Out of interest Homer, who would you drop? You have to respect them
All I see is black
Mostly every time I see the teamsheet
I accept that BN and Give Us A Wave want us to do well. However, I do feel they made up their mind about Mr Shakespeare without any evidence.
This. Unfortunately. Previously, those managers we were able to attract had, at best, a couple of good experiences and a few shite ones - so having a punt on someone inexperienced was somewhat more rational. At this point, we should be able to get a manager with a solid track record.Much easier to just flip that comment around. What evidence is there that Shakespeare is up to the job? We're too big a club nowadays to take a punt on someone with zero managerial experience or credibility.
Oh, I like that Pop.What evidence is there that any manager is up to any job before they start it?
Is Guardiola up to the Man City job? Statistics say he should be as he's a 'proven manager' but many people now think that he may be out of his depth. Is Klopp up to the Liverpool job? Same story. Then again, what evidence was there that Howe would be up to a Premier League job? He most certainly is though. Perhaps we shall be saying the same about Wagner come the summer.
The answer to the question is simple. Time tells us. Time gives us the evidence we need to come to any such conclusions and time is one thing that we haven't given Shakespeare enough of. Bedore we confine him to the same annals of history that Rob Kelly resides within, the fair, just and sensible thing to do is to afford him the time to show us one way or another whether he can be successful.
All of those managers have a discernible style and have had to work their way up to having their deservedly high reputations. Shakespeare got the job because he's always been the good cop and the owners needed a quick patch to get the lads back onside. All he has done so far is try to copy Pearson and Ranieri's greatest hits. He has had no original ideas except for 20 minutes of hot back 3 action against Atletico. He hasn't earned it, he was just in the right place at the right time and I'm convinced he has no idea how to beat the opposition. We're shit away from home, we're predictable and it's so blantemtly obvious what we're going to do each week it's frankly embarrassing. If I can notice it, a highly qualified Premier League manager can. It's basic, it's thoughtless and it's a waste of money on a season ticket. All we do is a bad impression of Ramieri's team. That season has pretty much ruined football for me admittedly, because nothing will ever compare to it but it would be nice to see something thoughtful and different. What evidence is there that any manager is up to any job before they start it?
