Because the plan was to loan in Bruma and let Hobbs go out, but Chelsea didn't want Bruma to go until David Luiz signed, which was only confirmed just before the 11pm deadline, meaning the Bruma deal ran out off time, so the Hobbs deal even though ready to go was stopped

AND BREATHE!

Amazing what you can say in one line! lol

Stringer on Twitter ...

Hobbs to #celtic cannot happen as the paperwork wasn't done last week but Sven says he will possibly go out on loan in England somewhere

obviously it wasnt :icon_razz

The reaction from some fans, not necessarily on here, has been akin to that of Fryatt, Waghorn, in fact anyone associated with the Pearson regime leaving*, one of utter horror.

Those times were in the past, and no matter how amazing they were under Pearson, life moves on. We all trust Sven, so I see no reason to be annoyed if he leaves on loan.

*Waghorn when we was on loan, not bought permernantly, for all pedants out there

I was wondering the other day why so many stars of the Pearson era (Morrison, Hobbs, Fryatt, Waghorn to name a few) have been so poor since he left. Maybe these players simply aren't as good as we thought they were, and were playing above themselves at the time NP was here. The only ones who have still played well this season are Gally, Wellens, King and maybe Dyer at a push-and arguably they all have much more natural ability than the others mentioned.

In other words, if it was completed before the transfer window closed, which everyone knew it wasn't because Hobbs PLAYED FOR US ON SATURDAY YOU ****ING CLOWN.

Stringer can't even wriggle properly.

Most of the teams in the SPL are League One standard.

Odhiambo and Cox are both regulars for 5th placed Inverness and they didn't make a start between them at Leicester. Wesolowski was one of Hamilton's best players when they finished 6th last season.

Even some of the bigger teams are full of players that wouldn't make it at Championship level. See some of the signings Strachan made for Middlesbrough, for example.

We don't need to look too far actually. Alan Maybury, Robbie Neilson, Stephen Hughes... to name a few

I was going to make the same point. He's on loan but plays for us, eh Stringer, you idiot.

Even though he was only on the pitch for a short time on Sat it seemed quite obvious why he is down Svens pecking order...

He can't pass.
